;D The AZBC group is putting together a toy drive on Dec. 11 along with a BBQ at that time. I/we thought that the Loco Offroad group would also like to participate in this cause. We will be having the drop point and a BBQ either in Papago Park or somewhere in North Phx. I think between both groups we should be successful. You guys have come together in the past to help and just thought you would like to do it again. I know as with the AZBC many people in this group are members in other groups sometimes making it difficult to have large turnouts. Let us join forces and do some good and let's do a meet and greet together and let's show off some our TOYS. If you guys are interested in this let me know and I'll post up the rest of the info for all as to where. Thanks ;D Steve

;D This is a good start. If you guys are serious and we can get some more together I'll let Chris B know. He is good with this. The way I see it we are all pushing for the same cause. If we could have a good turnout on both clubs this would be a great deal for both sides. Let's get some more people and I'll put it together. Steve

;D This is now posted on the calender. As I get more information I will keep you posted. We will be having a Toys for Tots drive at either Papago Park or North Phoenix. Along with the drive there will be a BBQ for meet and greet along with showing your own TOYS off. The BBQ is byof (bring your own food) as most of us don't have that kind of money. This is going to be a combination of both Loco Offroad, and AZBC. This is an effort to make it a success for both clubs. Please don't miss out on this. This is an opportunity for both clubs to stand out in the community and bring smiles to young kids faces. Please do not wrap the toys as the drop places do not want any prewrapped. Thank You all for your Help. We will see you there. Steve

Sounds like a plan! I think Papago Park would be a good place to meet.

Everyone I'm sorry for the lack of info. I'm trying to get it but no one wants to communicate. I am just as frustrated. What I do know for sure is: 1: It is at Papago Park the time will be approximately 10 or 11am until whenever, 2: All toys are not to be wrapped, 3: Bring whatever food you would like to eat and drink, 4: Tell everyone you can (the more publicity the better) neighbors, friends, family, and members who may not be checking the list, 5: If you have a grill that would be helpful even if it is a small one, 6: Remember have a good time and this is for a cause so let's set as good an image as possible. Thank You for your cooperation and assistance. I'm not trying to be preachy but we need to do this right. I wish this was more organized but I wasn't the one who was suppose to be setting it up. I've got enough going on in my life right now. I am still in need of a job. See everyone out at the park. Steve

Ok I tried to reserve a ramada for Dec 11,2005 today. Not going to happen. It is a first come first served basis because of construction. However I have a call in to the Park Supervisor explaining circumstances. We can do it but we will need someone to be out early to hold an area for us. I was told #2 has bathroom facilities close and holds 80 people. This would be ideal. If someone could get in early this would be the best scenario if not then let's hope the call helps. I'll be out just as soon as I can in the a.m. probally 9:30 or so. Thank you Steve
