na u dont have to have a muffler, ur exhaust just has to exit out the side or back it cant be underneath, and if the emissions sticker under the hood says catalyst then u have to have a cat

So if I took off the sticker I could run no cat? Lol Well what if I have a muffler & it exits under the truck?

Now I have to do that exhaust work I have been putting off since I cut it all apart like 6 months ago! I think I need tags in march.

they probably wont test it if it exits under neath. but there are exceptions, i tested a 70 somthing jeep the other day with headers and pipes that came out underneath but it had a 4 inch lift and 37's
it dont matter if u remove the sticker they have a big book with what everything is equiped with

Hmm.. So youre saying that my best bet for an easy pass [it will pass, I can trick you little fawkers into passing a truck thats on fire] is to throw my muffler on there & make it exit out the side like I wanna do anyway?
