i guess that would help, huh? heres the deal, me and my buddy are both doing them at the same time. both are TJ's, we both have D30 upfront, and are swapping our D35's for D44's. Mine will be re-geared to 4.88's, his will be 4.56's. I will have a lock-rite upfront, detroit in rear, he will have ARB's front & rear. We can do most/all of the work, and in fact want to, but neither of us have actually done it before, and need someone to make sure they are set right. If it matters, the garage has a swamp cooler, fridge w/ beer, and stereo w/ big speakers & good music. Anyone wanna help? Will provide food.

No worries, me of all people understand. thats the reason why sunday is the only day. 2-3 weeks ago i was actually able to do a run, did Axle Alley on 32's, open front & rear. made it through, but jacked stuff up good. thats why i'm upgrading/replacing now. Anyways, looking forward to going again, this time equipt for it.

nope. got everything removed, cleaned and somewhat ready to be put in. We're putting my buddy's off because he is trussing both his axles, and now is fab'n it for coilovers, mine, the ring gears are bolted to the lockers/carriers. just need to press on the new bearings, and install them. Anyways, we're gonna try to finish mine tonight. I just hope i do it right. the whole backlash / pinion depth thing makes me nervous. i only want to do this once.

Kyle or Randy. How about I bring the D44s by sometime and have you start stippen them for new gears and lockers. They need to be set up for SOA also. I don't have the time or tools. Let me know. I need to get them done so I can get out and wheel again. Steve M.

Really simple and cheap setup. Just need to figure out what to do with the gas tank
