Hell yeah! The way I look at it, this is my third TJ. The novelty of having a new vehicle was over before it started so I don't really look at it as a 2005 but simply as a JEEP. If I wanted something pretty I would have bought an H3 lol This things going to be short and wide with some big rubber for feet. Now I just need to save up for some 1-ton steering, some wheel spacers, alloy shafts, 4.88 gears, a roll cage and whatever in the heck else comes up.

If you are going to buy new wheels, just go with less backspacing and save money on spacers...

That makes sense about building a new vehicle, but I dont think I couldn bring myself to actually cut sheet metal more that just slight trimming.. Have you considdered tube flat fenders or something along those lines?

Have you considdered tube flat fenders or something along those lines? I was actually planning on switching to 15" rims with better BS'ing when I moved up in tire size but these 315's were too damn cheap to pass on so I'm keeping the Moabs.....for now. I'm honestly not a big fan of the moabs. I've got a ton of rock rash on them and have managed to rip two valve stems out because the location of the stems suck. Not to mention the crummy 5" BS. I have thought about tube fenders but they are expensive and don't provide any more clearance over standard fenders with flares. I might have a shop build me a radiator hoop/stinger combo for the front and then run some tubing along the bottom side if the hood and tie them into the rockers. we'll see though. It all takes money that I don't have so I'm just rolling with the punches right now and grabbing smokin deals that pop up.

you cut your frame to? it flexs a little more with no bed, but theres no weight and its way to easy to spin the wheels. im putting a tube bed on it so its not gonna be like that for long, just until it gets into the body shop for paint and to fix my front fender that is tearing.

Dude that thing needs a 60 up front, rear axle moved up about 2 feet, & some 42s.. It just looks silly right now hahaha. I dont have any frame to remove tho, otherwise I would have. I plan to move the axle forward about 8" when I get a chance, but right now I gotta get the built axle swapped under it & figure out what went boom up front over the weekend.. Booze+wheelin=BANG! I guess I need some new pics of the thing.. Its VERY different now, ask jason!
