Who here does varmit hunting especally coyote & prairie dogs. Anyone have any good spots for either. I know coyotes are pretty universal but any place specific where they are thick in number and curious enough to keep coming around?
When I move back to AZ I want to start getting into Varmit hunting. I was starting to get into it a little bit before I moved away last time.
Rimfire or Centerfire doesn't matter. I have access to varmit rifles in both styles.

theres lots of coyotes out in north mesa, they kept trying to get my uncles dog pregnant???
i usually used a 223 to take them down or whatevers not in the safe, a 44mag will do alot to a coyote.............................

Get with MaxPF on Ck5 , he does that . I gotta feeling he is going to get me involved in it too . We have been hanging out a bunch lately , good guy , same intrests as most of us .
He shoots IPDA too , with a XD .

I want to start shooting some pistol comps again too when I move back. I love shooting pistol comps especially shooting steel.

How do you get into competing? Sounds like fun! I need some practice it seems like no matter where I aim it always hits my foot.

If someone knows a good spot to shoot for free , besides TM , I hate shooting at TM ( Hey Rob where do you go ? ) , I would be up for getting together and putting some more rounds down my toys . My wife was just asking about playing with her 9mm too . I pick up my brass too , someday I will be reloading . |

its only $5 to shoot at ben avery for as long as you want, and you dont have to pick up your brass. they pick it up and resale it.

I'd have mine if there weren't kids around. Wife says no way. I've taken them out with friends to shoot but thats it. Have fun, wish I had mine.  |

yea i keep them in our gun safe though. its good for if you have kids and incase someone breaks in. we got one of the bigger safes from a gun show that bolts to the floor, wall, fireproof, and i dunno how thick.
