Well I turn 21 this Thursday and I'm looking to buy a 45 ACP I'm looking to get a small handgun either model 36 single stack or model 30 double stack i have a 9mm to go shooting at the range but want a smaller framed gun with a bigger bullet to carry.

that is the next thing if i dont get the gun in the near futer i will get a ccw and then get the gun. but i carry my gun every where with me so i smaller one would be nice ;D

Model 30 double stack. There was problems with the single shacks not functioning properly when they came out. The magazine spring was weak or something that was causing feeding issues.

i heard that to from a dealer at the gun show i was looking at a the 30 he had but he might just be trying to sell his gun. my friend shane worked at SGC and he says that he never heard or saw a problem with 36 as long as he was there but i was thinking the 30 any way he was pushing me on to the 36. i was thinking the 30 cuz u can put any double stack clip in it if u want and ti holds 9 rounds any way the 36 ony hold 6.
