Its always cheaper to buy a $20k vehicle than it is to throw down an extra $10-$20 a month on gas ;D Those things are sweet tho, is it black?

Well the math works out in the long run. Say he's putting 25 gallons in a week in the pick up, and gets 15 iles to the gallon. Say gas costs 2.50 a gallon, so hes spending 62.50 a week in gas. In which case he is getting 375 miles a week out of the beast, and about 19500 miles a year for 3250.
Cruisin' in his xb putting 10 gallons per week and his thing gets 40 miles to the gallon, and at a cost of 2.50 a gallon hes spending 25.00 dollars a week in gas. In this case, hes getting 400 miles a week, and 20800 miles a year for 1300 dollars.
Already a savings of 1950 dollars, but hes getting 1900 more miles than he needs so hes saving another 120 bucks there bringing the grand total up to 2070 dollars saved.
And since the Highest price you can pay for an xb is 16000, in 8 short years he pays off his scion and some of the interest in saved gas money alone.

The color is dark blue. The base price for an automatic is $15,045. My pickup truck gets about 9 miles per gallon and I drive at least 60 miles a day. The Scion gets 31 miles per gallon (city). I justified the just under $20,000 with a savings of over $220.00 a month in gas.(most of the payment) I'm having the rims and tires put on today, after that I'll be rolling in style!

If I were smart I'd do the same. With these gas prices I'm spending $120 a week on gas for the Wrangler. Do you think a 6'5" guy could fit in one of those Scions ? I think they look pretty sweet.

Depends how much your drive, really. I'd give anything to get 17 mpg though

They are really roomy inside. I'm only 5'8", but my brother-in-law is over 6' and he drives one. The next time we all go out you can take it around the block to see if you fit. -cj

Does anyone know of an economical vinyl graphic guy? Scion does not sell/make the graphic I want in a specific color...black. If anyone has a hook up and is willing to share I would appreciate it. Thanks.
