ok since it looks like im gonna get my own truck, what would be sometihng good to get aside from the usual ranger? like a tacoma (older ones of course) , umm those s10 4x4.? just need some tips thanx. -Angie-

jeeps are nice but i have no clue on how to drive a stick. plus i ahve a dirt bike and dont tihnk it would fit in a jeep lol

well i wouldnt mind a jeep with a bed lol. or a jeep that could fit a dirtbike in it. plus jeeps are still exspensive and i ahve a long way to save up.

im thinking maybe around 7k, see i dont know b/c iv never had to buy a truck u know. i just need a cheap truck, im not into looks b/c it will get messed up neway b/c im sure my bro is gonna wanna take it out when it rains n stuff,plus im pretty hard with stuff so i cant have pretty much new stuff. and as far as how many miles it has i would think some where under 90k.....does that sound reasonable?

$7k is an ass load to spend on a 1st truck.. I dont even have that in mine.. Not even close as a matter of fact.

That is alot of money. Sounds like a great down payment. If you are serious about $7,000 than there shouldn't be a problem finding a truck used or new. Do you like any make better? Standard cab, extra cab, four door? 4, 6, or 8 cylinders?

Tacoma's are supposed to be great for wheeling. When I was younger I had a 91 Nissan Hardbody and a 97 Nissan Hardbody. I wheeled the crap outta those things until my father-in-law introduced me to Jeeps. I bought the 97 in 99 for like $10k and it already had a 3" lift and 31's on it. You should be able to find something in your price range very easily. I put tons of miles on those Nissan and never had to replace anything except for brakes, tires and batteries. Very good trucks ;D
