Just thought i would post a thread so you guys could tell some of your favorite wheelin' stories
I would say the worst one i have is when i got the long bed chevy stuck 10 minutes into Turkey Creek and i sat there for 4.5 hours with a jeep and a ranger both trying to pull me out, ended up bending the frame where the tow hook mounted and worst of all my alternator died so i had to leave my truck in carefree. Even though it sucked it was still a fun trip. Oh yeah the water was 6" deap when i went in but the mud was endless apparently.

my brother and i went out to happy valley and jomax when he had his lifted ford. we went out after it rained and stuff going over hills and everything. when he decided to climb a small mtn. well needless to say it was slippery and instead of going back down the truck started going sideways. so i thouhgt we where gonna flip. but we backed it down and had some more fun....

Man oh man.. I have so many! One time at turkey creek back when I was driving the blue ranger, & randy had his 85 chevy [both sucked]. Anyway randy got his truck stuck in the mud crossing the creek & could NOT get out.. So I come to the rescue & dig 4 big holes just enough for my tires to get stuck in & cant back out cause I had no reverse in the truck at the time. The only other vehicle was mickey in his stock YJ [parajeeper on the boards]. Well he pulled me out & I pulled randy out after about FOUR HOURS! Then randys electrical system devoloped some sort of glitch & I had to jump start him every 5 minits all the way to a gas station on the carefree highway where we left his truck for the night.. More to come......... good thread randy

The last time I ran the Backroad to CK my buddy borrowed his Boss's YJ for the trip. 3 Broken motormounts, a trashed fan shroud and an electrical fire later we reached CK. We had to strap him up the second half of the trail and didn't reach CK until after 11 that night. I forgot to mention the battery melted during the electrical fire =) We left the jeep at the restaurant parking lot for the night and my buddy had to rent a UHaul car hauler and drive back up with his boss on Monday to retrieve it. Let's just say that he didn't work for his boss for very much longer....
