anyone know of a good/cheaper mig welder? preferably 110
and able to weld up to 1/4"

How often are you planning on using it? A good rule of thumb is "You get what you pay for.", but if it isn't going to see but a weld here and there, I think you'll be fine with just about anything you find.

Sounds like you should be okay with just about any welder you find. My buddy does all the welding on my ride, let me know and you can come out and we'll weld on yours.

check out harbor freight, they have a 110 dual mig welder for like $175. just picked one up and does the little stuff i need it to. anyone know of a good/cheaper mig welder? preferably 110 and able to weld up to 1/4" |

You wont get the penatration you want with 110V. Especially 1/4"!

I have to by some 3x tubing for the next leg of my project and we'll be welding again probably after work next week. You're more than welcome to come over and have a beer and check it out. That invitation goes out to just about everybody. For some I'll make Kool-aid. ;D
