I was wondering if anyone has satellite. I've had XM for a couple of years now and never listen to commercial radio anymore.

I used to be a Stern fan. There are some shows on XM that I think blow Stern out of the water. Maybe not the way he used to do radio, but now Opie and Anthony are way funnier in my opinion. If you ever want to check them or XM out just let me know and I'll give you my internet sign in and you can listen.
Do you have Sirus now?

Just an FYI Sirius is either in or getting ready for bankruptcy. You'ld better off staying with XM. Everyone I know swears on XM over Sirius. But then again I've never used either. Good luck. Steve

No question, XM. I was just wondering what everyone else liked. As I stated earlier, I never listen to "regular" radio anymore. The few Sirius receivers I've seen are a lot bigger than XM's, unless you buy a deck that is compatible. Again, I offer listening online to XM if anyone is interested in checking it out.

Id be interested but right now I dont have a computer with sound until I get my junk hooked up. Its interesting to hear that siruis is filing bankrupcy.. Also it wouldnt matter about the deck cause mines actually not capable anyway, [XM ready] but I have a ton of room for a reciever.

Direct TV and XM just announced there new partnership. Starting 11/15/05 all the music channels on Direct TV (channel 800+) will be XM channels, including two talk shows. One of the shows will be Opie and Anthony. O & A Party Rock! I just thought I would give everyone an update.

I've had Sirius in my Jeep since day 1 (will be 2 years in Dec.). I love it & CANNOT listen to regular radio anymore. Satellite or Cd's only. The uncensored comedy channels are great (even if they do get repetitive & have commercials) & if you are like me and like a wide variety of music styles (blues, underground country, punk, jam, some metal if I'm already angry, classic rock etc.) then it is almost necessary.

I have both XM and Sirius currently, i purchased the XM when i had the stereo stuff installed in the Burb, had it for a few years and enjoyed it very much, UNTIL i listened to some of Sirius's content, they have made some changes and personally i prefer Sirius over XM now.
The only reason i have the XM still in the Burb, is it is a hardwired unit going right through the headunit, the the Sirius unit is that portable unit that transmits through a FM freq,,,not a very clean sounding way to do it, but it works real well for the work rig, and that's where i spend most of my time during the day....
My vote, is Sirius all the way ;D
oh and BTW, Sterns show is sooooo much better now that he can do what he wants, no comparison
