Anybody else getting their butts kicked by the hike in prices? With my current 80 mile a day commute and $3 gallon gas prices I'm looking at dropping $600 a month just to get to work and home every month This is friggin nuts. I hear rumors that it's not going to top out until close to $5 a gallon This is the one time of year that I hate Daily Driving a Jeep. Looks like no more wheeling until the gas prices start dropping some Anyway...just had to vent.

That's why my daily is a Scion. -cj I might be going that route soon if I can sell the wife on it. I've got a guy at work who is selling a VW Golf TDI that get's 50 mpg. I'm not sure if it's worth it though. $200 a month car payment plus $200 a month on gas plus whatever insurance and crap would be. I don't know if I'd be saving any money in the long run.
