Anybody good with electrical? As some may know, the locker switch on the Rubicon will only engage the lockers in 4 low. I'd sure like to be able to have the rear locked in 4 high (for climbing hills etc.). I've found a good article on how to rewire the switch so that it will, but I'm no mechanic (putting it mildly) and would definitely screw up my whole electrical system if I tried it myself. Here's a link to the article (with pictures!). www.stu-offroad.com/electrical/rubi1/rubi1-1.htm

That would be great! You're running Raw Deal next weekend right? That's a short trail, I don't expect it to take more than a few hours. Any plans afterwards? My wife will want to get home since my daughter has a dance that night. Maybe you could come over & we'll take a look at it. I'll supply pizza & beer!

Don't know if I can do it before. I got a wife & 2 kids to get going and they are NOT morning people. Plus I think we'll be meeting up with some newbies to bring along. I could always drop the family off at home and then come by your place afterwards if that's more convenient for you.

thats in goodyear? dam iam like a good 20-30 minutes away, iam right by 47th ave and northern. if its just like those instructions i could probably do it in 10 minutes as long as there arent any other panels to take off. maybe i could do it for you at the meeting spot for raw deal while were waiting for people to show up?

That sounds good. Not a big deal really, wont need it on Raw Deal. Don't know exactly when I'd use the lockers in 4hi but you never know. Better to have that option and not need it than...

Sorry to hear that. With Ja being "iffy" that's 2 down. I always enjoy running with a big group. Get to see old friends and meet new ones. Isn't that part of the fun?

The AZBC annual Table Mesa run is a great place to meet people. Two years ago (the now famous "mud fest") I met Kyle & Randy, Jason (who actually had to pull me out of the river , Chris & a bunch of other people I now call friends.

Table Mesa is REALLY easy (unless the water crossings are flooded!). U-bolts should be fine on that one, but it's not until next month & I'm sure you'll have your new ones by then

Cool, we'll see you there. Don't worry about the locker switch. I've decided to put it off for awhile. Been doing that a lot lately.
