Does anyone know if the 23 spline on the Toyota cases is compatible w/ the 23 spline input on Jeep/Dodge Cases....?!??!?
I know this is a wierd one, but anyone got the stuff around to try....?!?!?
Thanks in advance,

Interesting what you learn when you start searching the net for this kind of stuff . I was curious . Now I know the Aisin-Warner AW4 in the Cherokee , can have its bellhousing removed , replaced with a Toyota bellhousing , and slapped into the Toyotas that came with the integral transfercase . Allowing a Dana 300 and the like in the Toys I still can't find what Marv wants to know . Google doesn't like me today LOL

I was looking at Advance adapters site . They have adapter for popular tranny's to Toyota cases . They show Toyota had gear driven 21 and 23 spline , and chain driven 23 and 26 spline . I would assume the latter on both would be Turbo/HD whatever Toyota had in the better trucks/runners

The only people I know with 23 spline units have them in their truck. Not too easy to find.
23 spline units come behind the r151 trans. Those are only in v6 or turbo trucks that are stick. Auto's have an integrated trans/t-case set up that's poo. They last forever (Mine's got almost 300k) but the t-case integrated into the trans if not so cool.
Talk with Mike at the Bell road Rat. He may have one around or know someone with one.

Also, I would assume that they would spline together because of the cross use of aisin in both brands

i though all V6 Cases were chain driven reguardless of manual or automatic transmission and the 23 spline inputs/outputs were only on r151f transmissons on turbo trucks...
