Hey I am new to the site. This is my first post actually. I was talking to Kyle on AIM and he told me about this site. Anyway about me. My name is Josh and I'll be 20 in January. I live in Ahwatukee, 20th st and Pecos. I used to be into street racing, had a 85 VW GTI with a VR6 motor swap. All I had was an exhaust an ran a 14.14. But then it got rear ended on the 60, shoved into the center divider and then clipped by a pickup truck. So it is now totalled. But I picked up this beauty yesterday. 2002 Ford Ranger 4.0L, 4x4, 5Spd manual Crew cab. This is my first ever 4x4 so Im gonna need some help learning how to off-road if anybody ever has any freetime.

Thats a nice lookin ranger! We'll take ya out wheelin in it some time soon too! Anyway the 1st thing you might wanna do is invest in some 31" all terrain tires or mudders if you've got balls. Stick around, I think you'll like it here.

Hahaha ya I found that out today. I am leaving in about 10min for the drive back to Az from SF Bay area. We had some wicked rain out here, and the local trails were all muddy. I didnt want to venture to far, but I did manage to get stuck for about 5min with those stock tires. I had to rock it back and forth a few times, and then managed to haul ass thru the rest of the mud back onto pavement. It was pretty scarry, I didnt have a high lift jack, a shovel, or anybody to pull me out. But I managed to get out on my own. I also went in with full air-pressure. I think that was a mistake. Well talk to you guys soon.
